The Kerbango website served as a database driven site which performed four general functions:
1) Supported the Radio
2) Online Audio Search Engine
3) Kerbango Promotion
4) Gathered Stream Statistics

Various options were explored before deciding on the final design. As the database developed, we were better able to hone in on how all the pieces would fit together. We looked at frames and non-frames structures.
The final design focused on a “modular” orientation The site felt more like a product than a piece of the browser. It also borrowed elements from the radio’s LCD interface.
